Sound notes

Who knows how long I’ve been collecting these field recordings, all recorded in the crudest way possible. Me with my phone held upside down capturing the odd voice and stray sound or some distant tannoy at 5pm. The sight of a microphone seems to cause less stress in the faces of passersby compared with the sight of my camera bearing down on them. Maybe that’s just me, who knows. Anyway … here’s to Sugamo and The King.
